Teacher Alumna Achieves Doctorate
Dina C. Vendetti, ’85, recently received her doctorate in Educational Innovation and Leadership from Wilmington University. Her dissertation study involved teaching leadership skills to young children.
Dina is currently Principal of St. John’s Lutheran School in Dover, DE, which she helped start in 2000. Growing steadily each year, St. John’s will begin to offer 7th and 8th grades in the fall. Dina keeps her teaching skills sharp by serving on a team of instructors for the upper grades. In her spare time, Dina is involved with various community activities: Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Central Delaware, and the Capital City Rotary Club. She also serves as the late-service choir director and substitute organist at St. John’s Lutheran Church.
